I am Dr. Terence Elliott, and welcome to Life with Doc T! I have a doctorate in education and over 40 years of experience as an educational leader. As a musician and a certified sound healer, I work with others to help them develop their physical, mental, and emotional selves. I am so excited to have a space to share knowledge and insights developed over years of guided trial and error.
As an elder, I am concerned with living a long and productive life. Through research and personal experience, I am learning and instructing others on what is necessary to achieve this goal.
Learning to better care for our health is critical in this current pandemic and high rate of mental illness. You will find content that covers exercise, sound healing, travel, and nutrition. These are all areas in which I am personally interested and have prior experience. Please stay informed and aware that our physical, mental, and emotional health is essential.
We should prioritize living a healthy lifestyle to stay active. Movement is central to being healthy, alive, and engaged in the human experience. Activity is essential, whether it’s an afternoon walk, an energizing rhythmic class, or a heart-pounding set of lunges. Every walk, jump, or lap brings people closer to a more active and meaningful life.
Here at Life with Doc T, we share a nearly all-consuming love of food. We constantly present fresh, flavorful, (usually) healthy dishes on this blog that we enjoy making and eating in our real, everyday lives. We will not post anything on the blog that we would not eat in real life. With food that is both approachable and intriguing, we hope to inspire you to cook for yourself, your roommates, your family, or your friends.
